A one bedroom flat with views of the River Thames and Battersea Park from both the living room and the bedroom. The entrance hall has wood panelled walls and a hanging chandelier, which sets the tone for the rest of the flat.

In the sitting room there is a plush red rug in front of a large double sofa that folds out into a sofa bed for guests, a fireplace, and red brocade curtains. A lever set into the panelled wall slides back to reveal a hidden kitchen with chrome fixtures and modern appliances.

The master bedroom is papered in a muted teal, with a king size bed, an industrial radiator, a wall mounted television and floor to ceiling mirrors. Next door, the shower room is new, with a power shower and a heated chrome towel rail. Please note there is no air conditioning in the flat.

Chelsea was traditionally a haunt of the London bohemia and is now one of the city's most affluent areas, with wide elegant boulevards of period properties. King's Road and Sloane Square are close by.

In the seventeenth century it was known as the village of palaces, and its residents included Henry VIII, Sir Thomas More, Elizabeth I, the Duke of Monmouth and the Duke of Beaufort. On the doorstep of Embankment Gardens is Chelsea Embankment, with its wide view of the Thames, and the elegant Ranelagh Gardens.

Further north are the shops of King's Road and the museums of South Kensington. Central London is around 20 minutes away via Sloane Square underground station, which is a 10 to 15 minute walk.
